Multiplier event in Spain

The Spanish multiplier event of the SUSMILE project took place within the framework of the VIII Logistics Day organized by MLC ITS Euskadi, which was held in the Logistics & Automation Bilbao Fair on the 1st March 2023 in the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC). Logistics & Automation is the leading European network of events specially designed for the logistics community.

In order to share and disseminate the produced intellectual outputs, two activities were organized for this day: a general presentation about the project and a dedicated workshop.

  1. The presentation of the project was aimed at providing all relevant information about the project, including the context, why the project is needed, who the target audience is, the participants, the associated partners, the project results, and a short video of the serious game. This presentation was part of a wider agenda with other insightful and interesting presentations, including topics such as logistics 5.0, blockchain, digital identities, artificial intelligence and automation. The target audience of the morning session consisted of logistics operators, production and procurement managers, engineers, handling and warehousing managers, IT managers, technological centres, universities, public administration and VETs (teachers and students). In total, there were 64 participants (evidence attached).
  2. The workshop was aimed at letting the attendees (VET students and teachers) test the serious game. First of all, a demo was played by the organizer (MLC ITS Euskadi), and then, attendees were given approximately 40 minutes to play individually. The session was informal so that students and teachers asked questions about doubts they had on the game and these were answered by the organizer.

In addition to this multiplier event, SUSMILE project was also presented in the “Distrifuture 1” event organized by Logistop in Madrid. This event focused on LMD and brought together all type of agents interested and involved in last mile delivery. In total, 16 people attended (evidence attached) and got to know about the SUSMILE project. The feedback of this presentation was also very positive.
